Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actress and television presenter. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. The actress was the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16, Alexandra played the leading character in various television dramas. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra's career has seen her work on a number of notable international and national projects. A few of them include the British biographical movie Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, and French historical mini-series Napoleon. She was also on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
